Question

Answer (Detailed Solution Below)

Option 2 : brightness shifts the histogram toward higher values while contrast widens its spread / चमक हिस्टोग्राम को उच्च मानों की ओर खिसकाती है जबकि कंट्रास्ट उसके फैलाव को चौड़ा करता है

Detailed Solution

सही उत्तर brightness shifts the histogram toward higher values while contrast widens its spread / चमक हिस्टोग्राम को उच्च मानों की ओर खिसकाती है जबकि कंट्रास्ट उसके फैलाव को चौड़ा करता है है।

Question:

In digital image processing, raising brightness and raising contrast differ in that / डिजिटल छवि प्रसंस्करण में, चमक बढ़ाना और कंट्रास्ट बढ़ाना इस बात में भिन्न हैं कि

brightness widens the histogram while contrast shifts it toward white / चमक हिस्टोग्राम को चौड़ा करती है जबकि कंट्रास्ट उसे श्वेत की ओर खिसकाता है

brightness shifts the histogram toward higher values while contrast widens its spread / चमक हिस्टोग्राम को उच्च मानों की ओर खिसकाती है जबकि कंट्रास्ट उसके फैलाव को चौड़ा करता है

both operations are irreversible nonlinear transforms / दोनों प्रचालन अपरिवर्तनीय अरैखिक रूपांतरण हैं

contrast adjustment changes hue while brightness does not / कंट्रास्ट समायोजन वर्ण बदलता है जबकि चमक नहीं

Correct Answer: brightness shifts the histogram toward higher values while contrast widens its spread / चमक हिस्टोग्राम को उच्च मानों की ओर खिसकाती है जबकि कंट्रास्ट उसके फैलाव को चौड़ा करता है

Brightness adjustment adds or subtracts a constant, shifting the whole histogram; contrast adjustment scales pixel values about a midpoint, widening or narrowing the histogram's spread.
